Speaking in hands

This video shows Uliana Lopatkina, one of the most versatile Russian ballerinas of a new generation, in rehearsal.
I saw her once live and it was every bit as impressive as this short glimpse into her daily routine, caught on film.
Amazing hands, huh?

That has to be one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen. I have just lately fallen in love with ballet (where have I been all these years) and the gracefulness and softness belies years of hard work and dedication.

This is marvelous. Thank you for finding it.

She is speaking with every cell of her body! So lovely!

For me, ballet is the highest art; to express everything with such total body control, understanding and passion.

Not just her hands, but her arms and shoulders as well (not to mention everything else). The way she moved her arms, like she was flying, was just amazing...

Beautiful...

She is other-worldly.

She is unbelievable. I think one can learn so much about grace and musicality just from watching this short video over and over again.
